Local Scottish Country Dancing Clubs
Many people dance different nights at different clubs, these are all within the branch or easy distance from Bracknell. There are a number of local clubs not on the web, see ‘Affiliated Clubs’ at the RSCDS Berks/Hants/Surrey Border Branch. Up to date contacts for most further afield can be found in Scottish Country Dance Classes in the South and East.
The RSCDS Berks/Hants/Surrey Border Branch runs a General level class at Our Lady Queen of Heaven RC Church Hall, 111 Portsmouth Road Frimley GU16 7AA on Wednesdays.
Fleet Scottish Country Dance Society
Meet fortnightly on Saturdays.
They host the very popular Apprentices Dances
Guildford Scottish Country Dance Club
Meet on Mondays. One of their members teaches a beginners course.
St. John’s Scottish Country Dancing Club - Wokingham
Meet on Thursdays. They also run a children’s class on Saturday mornings in Crowthorne, see Notice.
Prefer to dance during the day rather than in the evening?
The U3A has a Scottish Country Dance class from 2–4pm twice a month in Camberley on Tuesdays.
